Pakistan Army launches “Operation Khyber lV” in the Pak-Afghan border area
According to a statement given by Pakistan’s military wing “Inter-Service Public Relation” in a press briefing on Sunday, it has been shared that Pakistan Army has launched a new military operation near the Afghan border to fight militants.
The army spokesman Maj. Gen. Asif Ghafoor said that the operation will be conducted in the Rajgal valley in the Khyber tribal region of Pakistan, and an infantry division backed by artillery and Pakistan’s air force will clear the valley.
He further added that the Afghan authorities have been informed and Pakistan has urged them to take the required measures on their side of the border.
