UAE sentences Indian national in UAE for spying charges

An expat has been sentenced to ten years in prison along with deportation with charges of espionage, by the UAE courts on Thursday. According to Daily, the was found guilty by the Abu Dhabi appeals of sharing sensitive information about “movements of ships” with an unstated country.

Just last year, another citizen was sentenced of five years of imprisonment by the UAE for for India.
