ISIS’ presence in India made Tajikistan restrict visa policy for Indian nationals
According to the new visa policy by Tajikistan, Indian nationals from now onward will not be able to obtain visa on arrival, when traveling to Tajikistan. The facility to get visa online has also been withdrawn for the Indian nationals.
A travel agent, who requested to keep his name unknown shared, “Ongoing war inside Afghanistan is already creating problems for Tajikistan bordering areas therefore authorities are vigilant to issue visas to Indian nationals for the time being”.
