Iran launches naval drills at the mouth of the Indian Ocean and Gulf
With its aim to fight against the terrorism and piracy Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said that the annual exercises of Iran will be stretched up to the Strait of Hormuz, the Bab el-Mandab, the Gulf of Oman and northern side of the Indian Ocean.
In the drill, spread over about 2 million square kilometers area, Navy ships, submarines and helicopters will also be participating in it, in addition to that, marines will showcase their skills along Iran’s southeastern coast.
