Pakistan to launch Rs 400 million project for temples, churches and gurdwaras protection

The Pakistan’s government on Friday has announced to launch Rs 400 million project to protect the temple, gurdwaras and churches

Reports say that the amount will be spent in the purchase of surveillance camera and their installments at the holy sites of in the province.

The special assistant to the Minister of said: “This project will greatly enhance the level of security at places of worship.”

He said that the project will also include to setup modern day surveillance and monitoring system at each and every worship place and cameras will be placed at pivotal locations.
The Police has listed 703 holy sites, 523 churches 6 gurdwaras and 21 places belonging to the Ahmadi community and more than 2,310 policemen are deployed to protect these places
