Iraq may turn into Syrian style war zone due to the US policy
On Thursday, during a live discussion broadcast via YouTube, former Republican presidential candidate, Dr. Ron Paul shared his concerns regarding the future of the Middle East. He expressed his views while having a discussion on Pentagon’s demand to send 500 more troops to Iraq.
By sending more 500 troops to Iraq, said Paul, would increase the total number of deployed forces up to 6,400.
He further said:
“We’re re-invading, and I don’t think the outcome looks too optimistic.”
By doing this, Paul believes that US is repeating the same factors that led to the 9/11 attack and will also initiate another bloody era of civilian war in Iraq.
