Pak-China kicks off Joint Air Training Exercise

Beijing: The two Air Forces of and kicks off their joint training exercise from Saturday and have stationed their latest AWACS aircraft and other jets.

JH-7 fighter bombers, J-11 fighters, KJ-200 AWACS aircraft and ground forces including the surface-to-air and radar troops have been dispatched by to participate in the joint training exercise with Pakistan. The exercise will be on till the 27th of this month, said Shen Jinke, the spokesperson for the People’s Liberation (PLA) said. has sent JF-17 Thunder fighter jets and early warning aircraft to join the exercise, named “Shaheen VI”, Mr Shen said.

“To build a world-class air force, we need to learn from foreign armies and improve our capability to complete multiple tasks,” Mr Shen said.
