Pak-China kicks off Joint Air Training Exercise
JH-7 fighter bombers, J-11 fighters, KJ-200 AWACS aircraft and ground forces including the surface-to-air missile and radar troops have been dispatched by China to participate in the joint training exercise with Pakistan. The exercise will be on till the 27th of this month, said Shen Jinke, the spokesperson for the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force said. Pakistan has sent JF-17 Thunder fighter jets and early warning aircraft to join the exercise, named “Shaheen VI”, Mr Shen said.
“To build a world-class air force, we need to learn from foreign armies and improve our capability to complete multiple tasks,” Mr Shen said.
