Cop who probed and exonerated Narender Modi from Gujarat riots appointed as new NIA Chief
YC Modi, the senior officer of IPS who was part of the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation team and who acquitted Gujraat’s butcher of Muslim, Narendra Modi has now been appointed as the new Chief of India’s National Investigation Agency.
Modi has been named as the new Chief of National Investigation Agency (NIA) by the Cabinet as Director General of the NIA. His appointment has come as a follow-up of RK Raghavan, who was the head of Supreme Court appointed SIT to probe the Gujrat riots.
