Russian Naval fleet docked at Iranian port on a friendly four-day visit
A Russian Naval fleet docked at the Iranian port city of Anzali on a friendly four-day visit on Wednesday morning.
The naval fleet includes a Russian Makhachkala battleship.
The Russian naval group will be meeting the local naval administration of Iran, as it aims to strengthen relations with the littoral states. The group will also be honoring the martyrs of the Islamic Republic’s wartime during its stay.
In the past also Russia has dispatched fleets on similar missions to the Iranian coastline in 2007, 2014, 2015, and in 2016.
