ISIS threatens to shed blood like rivers in China
Releasing its new half hour video on the internet, and pledging to “shed blood like rivers”, ISIS has clearly indicated that it is now leering its eyes over China. It is being considered that this is the very first threat to China, on the part of ISIS.
In the released video that was focalized towards the Chinese region, an Islamic State fighter enunciated:
“Oh, you Chinese who do not understand what people say. We are the soldiers of the Caliphate, and we will come to you to clarify to you with the tongues of our weapons, to shed blood like rivers and avenging the oppressed,” as translated by a U.S based SITE Intelligence group.
However what’s more alarming is to see children as part of the ISIS. Heavily armed children who are giving speeches, praying and executing the informants.
Though the Islamic State have threatened to attack different states, but experts on the issue, like Clarke of the Australian National University, believes this particular threat to be the very first “direct threat” to China.
It somewhat seems pretty strange that a terrorist group who claims itself to be an “Islamic” group is eyeing on a Non-Islamic country, since so far only Islamic countries have been targeted by ISIS. Moreover, China is also not a part of any coalition that is fighting against ISIS anywhere.
The reason why some experts believe ISIS has threatened China is the treatment of Chinese government towards Uighurs, the minority Muslims who are located in the western Chinese province of Xinjiang. On these grounds, it would not be wrong to consider that the ISIS group has now found a rationale behind a potential attack on China.
The newly released video can also be aimed to cater the extremist elements in the Uighur Muslims, who may consequently go violent against Beijing and thus cause disruption in the Chinese state.
