Gwadar port operationalizes with arrival of first Chinese Ship
The very first Chinese ship docks reached at the Gwadar sea port on Saturday. With the arrival of the Chinese Ship at the center of $46 billion project between Beijing and Islamabad, the Gwadar port is now operational.
The project which consists of an economic corridor of 3000 kilometers also comprises of highways and railways that will connect China’s Xinjiang province to the rest of the world through Gwadar port of Pakistan.
With its potential to become a game changer for Pakistan, it has also attracted other countries to be a part of this project, as recently Iran and Afghanistan have also showed their will to attach themselves with the project.
